Recreational rowing is for anyone who has recently completed an Adult Learn To Row or has participated in the Community Corporate Challenge within the last three months. This program is designed to develop your rowing skills and to gain further experience and confidence in the rowing shell. This drop-in program is also intended to provide an opportunity for participants to be physically active in a non-competitive environment.
This program primarily uses sculling boats (two oars, one in each hand). Each session has a coach to help lead the group as well as one-to-one coaching.
Participants may only row with coaching supervision at specified program times.

Please Note: Punch cards must be stamped by the coach at each row. New cards may be purchased when old card is complete.

Registration:
- This is a drop-in program; therefore, recreational rowers do not need to join at the beginning date in order to participate.
- Punch cards must be purchased from the VCRC office by credit card, debit or cheque.
- There are no refunds on Punch Cards.
- Punch Cards expire September 30, 2010.
